Water Coloring Pictures

Jul 27, 2016

I have always wanted to start water painting, now one of the many creative things I do as hobbies. A couple of days ago my mom bought me this watercolor set and I haven't put it down yet!
Here are a couple of the drawings I have done.

The supplies I use:

Artist's Loft™ Fundamentals™ Watercolor Pan Set

I really enjoy painting. I find that it helps me relax and also I can show off my creative side. I really want to fill my whole book with paintings, sketches and drawings.
Don't forget to tell me what painting you liked the best and any suggestions you have that I can paint.
Love you all!! <3

Lotion Malfunction? | Storytime

Jul 25, 2016

This is a story about the time that I felt the need to not look at a label on a container before using it!
Yes, you read right... let's start from the beginning

One night, my mom gave me a large bottle of some sort of liquid. I decide to read the label but stopped about 2/3 of the way down, missing some very important information. On the label, it says  "Ultra Shea Butter" and my mind goes immediately to lotion. I don't know why, but it did.
So, the next few days I put the so-called lotion on my body. Nothing really happens just that I feel that my skin is somewhat soft. Also, I should have known something was up was when I was putting the "lotion" on, it felt really thick and heavy to apply. I just thought that, because it was ultra butter, it was supposed to be like that. I totally dismissed the idea. (Silly me! I should have known something was up)
A couple of days later, I was invited to go dune buggying with a couple of my friends and I had put the "lotion" on before going. It was raining when we went so while we were in the car I looked down at my legs and saw that the "lotion" was running off of my legs. I knew that lotion did that when it was in contact with water so I just decided not to put it on when it's raining. A few days later, my mom asked me to put my body wash in the shower.  I was confused, because I didn't know what body wash she was talking about.  Then, it occurred to me she may be talking about the "lotion" I had left sitting in my bathroom and I read the label, to find that it really was body wash.  Oh, my...no wonder it was coming off in the rain!  The only good thing that came out of that situation was that I got a nice leg cleaning while dune buggying!! :)

Here is what I should have read more closely:

My mom was right. I had put body wash on my body for over a week. Without even knowing.
I told my parents and my brother at dinner and they laughed so hard. Like red in the face, hardcore laughing. Well, at least now I know and I am not still using it as lotion.
In the end, I learned:

1. Always read the WHOLE label and do not get side tracked
2. Observe what you are doing. If the "lotion" is thick and chunky, that means there is a serious problem on your hands!

If you enjoyed this storytime blog post then tell me if you had any bad malfunctions like me. I would love to hear them. We can all laugh at ourselves together.

P.S, I have a hashtag to go along with this blog post.
Its #lotionnotlotion
Make it happen! :)

Birthday Haul | Part 3

This is the last part of the birthday haul series. If you missed part 1 click here. If you missed part 2 click here to check it out.
This haul contains the things I got at my surprise birthday party. All of my wonderful friends planned a party just for me. I couldn't be more grateful for all of their love that they put into this party, I will be doing a separate post on it.
I broke this post up into section based on who gave me what. Again I am super duper grateful for everything and I am not here to brag. I want to thank all of them so much for coming and planning this. I really have the greatest friends anyone can ask for.

From Katie:

Katie got me so much stuff and I am so thankful for that. She definitely listens to what I like. Haha! Each piece she got me showed she really cared. Even thought I turned 14 I still love my stuff animals. #nevergrowingup! :). So when I was opening her gift I started to scream like a little girl. If you haven't gotten it already, I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. I was eyeing the Star Wars Tsum Tsum when I was shopping with my mom but only decided to get Rey and R2-D2. I was so excited when I pulled all of them out. Thank you, Katie!

From Harper:

Harper and I call ourselves DIY makers... well at least that's what I call us. So, we had talked a lot about making these teacup candles we saw on Pinterest and when I pulled this out of the bag and she told me she made it herself I instantly loved it even more! If you know me then you know I love to craft my gifts. I feel like they have a more sentimental touch to it. Harper also got me a beautiful black tulle skirt I have wanted forever! If you want to see it check it out here!
If you too feel this way then to make sure to comment down below telling me something you crafted for a friend or family member! Thank you ,Harper! :)

From Jocelyn:

Along with the crafty theme, Jocelyn bought some ceramic objects. I have already painted the dish with the glitter paint. I feel like it turned out pretty great. Though I do have a teensy to mess the paint up whilst it drying, which is really frustrating, I managed to keep everything nice and clean. The dish now is holding my new Tsum Tsum. I don't really know what to paint the elephant but for now, it is sitting on my desk. Thank you, Jocelyn, for the wonderful gifts.

From Haley:

Haley was very kind on getting me this gift. Last year I was obsessed about having bracelets that jiggled while I was wearing it and all my friends knew that. When I saw the Lucy's bag I thought of Alex and Ani bracelets. The amazing thing about this bracelet is that it has my initial on it. I wear it with my other ones. Those bracelets are my ultimate go-to jewelry. Thank you, Haley for adding to my jingly bracelet collection! :)

From Sarah:

All of my friends know that I love being happy. But I don't think they know that they are the reason they make me so happy all the time. The love I get from all of them and the special bond I have is the real source of being happy. So, when I got to Sarah's gift and I pulled out this I knew it was made for me! Now I can put all of my funny photos or special notes inside and I can store them for a lifetime of happiness. I can't wait to go back and look through all the wonderful memories I shared with all of them.

From Lizzie:

Lush products are now one of my all time favorite things to use and when I revealed this I almost fell off my seat. Just the smell of the present made me want to take a bath. I just love watching the bombs sizzle in the water to the great looking designs the bombs make in the bath water (very picture worthy sometimes). Even though they are quite expensive for some products they all have amazing end solutions. This gift box is called Relax and I am looking forward to a night where I can use all of the items in the box. Thank you, Lizzie for getting me a wonderful gift that will make my skin feel like silk. Haha! :)

From Taylor, Trinity, and Jack:

All of these wonderful people got me cards to some of my favorite places to go. I can't wait to go to all  of the stores and buy some new books or art supplies from Micheals. I am so thankful for all of them. My favorite is Trinity's Icing Icing Baby card. Made me laugh so much! Thank you Jack, Taylor and Trinity for buying me gift cards to all of my favorite places.

All I can say is that I have the most lovely, kind, loyal group of friends anyone could ask for. True friends stick up for each other and help each other out. Like the quote says, "True friends are hard to find and impossible to replace" All you need in life is family, food, water and a great group of friends to help you along the way! :)

Birthday Haul | Part 2

Jul 22, 2016

Part 2 is here for you! This part is the clothes I got with my shopping spree. I want to thank my amazing friends for helping me. Harper took the awesome photos and Katie modeled the other clothes.

Most of these clothes are from H&M. They had really good prices and almost every time I go they always have a sale. I always check there because you may never know what you might find. The other items are from TJMaxx and Express. My favorite item is the white skirt from H&M. It wasn't on sale but I just couldn't pass it up. I definitely will be wearing it whenever and where ever I can.
I will most likely be doing a black and white lookbook blog post, so if you want to see these pieces styled, then comment down below. I always love talking to you guys. :)

I want to thank my friends again and give a shout out to Katie. She started her own blog and I would love for you to check it out. Click here  to be sent to her home page. Make sure to leave her a nice comment.

Birthday Haul | Part 1

Jul 21, 2016

This birthday has definitely been the best one yet! I was super grateful for all the gifts I got and my surprise party (Coming soon)! This birthday haul is the items I got for my shopping spree.

These items are a mix of stuff I bought myself and stuff from my family. The first thing I got were my Star Wars Tsum Tsum. I am totally in love with them! I love how cute and squishable they are. Another item is the black and gold sunglasses. They were definitely my style and super cheap. Just below it is my Alex and Ani bracelet. I actually got this at Norstrom and it was only $15. This is really a great price compared to the actual brand. Along with the bracelet, I got some earrings at Aeropostale. They too were a good price and a great deal. Next thing were these vintage style shoes. I got them for only $6! Crazy good. They were brand new so they didn't have any scuff marks on the bottom. Lastly, I got this super cute hashtag light up sign that my brother's girlfriend bought me. She was super sweet for getting me this.

These items are from Lush. They all smell like heaven and look super pretty, too. I got two bath bombs and one bath bubble. The last product I got from there was a super interesting one. This was called a bath butter. The lady that was helping me out described it as a solid lotion. If you would like me to review it as a separate post then comment down below. I can't wait to try it out.

The last few items were from my brother and his girlfriend. She got me two amazing traveling style notebooks and a small portable sketchbook. My brother got me Salt & Vinegar chips and Nutella. Both foods I love so dearly.

I can't wait to use all of these amazing gifts that I got.
I want to thank all the people that got them for me and I will treasure it all.

Happy 14th Birthday to Me!

Jul 19, 2016

Happy Birthday to me! 14 years. Crazy...! I knew for this blog post I wanted to write letters to myself. I love rereading my writings, either in journals or notes on my phone. I think it's really funny but also very cool.
To begin, I decided to write 4 letters. For a week, a month, a year and 10 years. I wrote the letters then sealed them up.

This will be very interesting when I open the letters, wondering what I had written on my birthday. If you liked this blog post and wanted to try it out, leave a comment down below and tell me what you would do.
I will be posting this whole week for my birthday. If you missed yesterday's blog post, click here to view it.
